Laura Newman is a traveler and long-distance hiker. This is her travel log from her 2018 hike to Machu Picchu on the Sulkantay Trail. She went with her daughter Katie, her brother Michael, sister-in-law Mitze, and nephew Chris. Her husband Dave accompanied them to Lima and Cusco and then traveled by train to Machu Picchu on his own. Most of the photos were taken by Michael Vlasek.
