Rome Airbnb review

Beautiful living room with one wall deep blue, accented by curtains

Rome Airbnb review

March 28-April 3, 2023

Michela and Pietro’s place is absolutely gorgeous! The photos are great, but I didn’t expect the reality to actually match. But it’s even better, if possible. It has a nice-size living room/dining room, a beautiful bedroom and fully-stocked bathroom and kitchen (it even has Tupperware!). There are personal touches throughout, from the beautiful art on the walls to the plants, magazines and extra blankets.

The apartment overlooks a quietish street that leads down to via Barberini, which leads to everywhere. It’s only a 10-minute walk to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and a 15-minute train ride to the Colosseum and Vatican City. Just downstairs, there is a great pizza/pasta place, as well as a lovely cafe.

Pietro and Michela gave us a jar of homemade jam, as well as an extensive list of things to do and places to eat while in Rome. But their best advice was to take the time to get lost in Rome, which we did (and happened upon an excellent gelato place in the process). They have been very responsive, getting back to us almost immediately with any questions we had.

We love it here and would live here if Italy would let us.

OK the AirBnB Rome video is next level. Love the sexytime music, love that you don’t really know your kitchen appliances and Clay’s video skills. Keep ’em coming!
